Every Crisis is an Opportunity!

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s
attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

An inner child healing routine

  • Sit in a comfortable position

  • Bring your attention to the breath. Begging to take long and deep breathes, and count to ten, three times.

  • Once relaxed, feel the lightness of your body, feel it like a feather.

  • Begin to scan the body. Notice any areas of tension or tightness or just general discomfort

  • Investigate this - what ya going on here? What is bing felt. Describe it in terms of how it feels, color, shape, sensitivity ect.

  • See if any verbal description comes to this energetic sensation you are tuning in with.

  • Does it feel alone, lost, empty, stressed, sad, represded etc? What best describes this?

  • Now, hold the space for this energy, hold it in a loving embrace. You may put your arms in a hugging position or like holding a baby, and hold this energy.

  • These are usually fragmented parts of us trhat se calling out to be seen, held and loved,

  • Speak to it: you are welcome, I meet you with respect, o love you no matter what, you are safe here, you can relax in this space, I love you,

  • Continue to hold this energy in thsi sosce until it begins to soften, you may visualise it softening also.

  • Once softened and relaxed, invite this energy into your body, to merge with the rest of you. ‘Welcome home’

  • Now, How are you feeling?

  • This can be repeated and often is useful for core wounds that surface repeatedly
